What an awesome start to this winter. We finally got snow on the East Coast after a awful winter last year. I have been all over the East already and there still is a lot of winter left!
Instead of writing a long post of what I been up to and where I have been here are a bunch of photos and iPhone photos that pretty much say it all.
The first stop of the Winter was West Viringia with Skylar Brent, Harry Hagan, Mike Ravelson, Dylan Dragotta, and Eugene Stancato.
We pulled over on this back road in WV to get some photos of the snow and found this sign for Preston.
Rav waiting for Harry to handle to hotel room issues.
Rav and Harry checking out the shot in WV right before we got kicked out.
While everyone was setting up another spot Rav shaped out this massive snow pile and got this handplant.
Austin Leonard met up with us and he got this method.
A week or so after the WV trip we headed to Minnesota with Dylan, SKylar, Colton, and met up with Cody and Austin who both live there.
After a 22 hour drive there and once we got settled in we headed across the street from the hotel to Walmart to get a few things. Of course had to get a scooter.
The next morning we headed out to scope some spots out and while waiting for Austin Young to meet up with us Skylar was trying to kick the ice off the tree but looks like a cheerleader instead.
Cody, Austin, and Dylan setting up the first spot of the trip.
Colton had a nice res tip going on.
Rob Balding also came out along with Rav, Mark Wilson, and Sam Taxwood. We had a pretty big crew.
While Cody was torching the drop in he kinda set the bush on fire.
Mesa pizza downtown by the University was our dinner spot for most of the night. Pizza was so good.
Rob getting that angel. He also left Skylars board there.
While fixing my flash I got nailed in the back of the head by Austins snowboard.
After I cleaned it out.
Skylar
Rav torching her up.
After the MN trip I headed back to Boulder to shoot some photos.
These guys…
Then right before New Years I met up with Lucey, Ted, Desiree, Hammid, Reis, and Hulbert in Mass. Thanks again Ted for letting us crash at you place!
Reis and Hammid having a heart to heart.
We headed up to Burlingto, VT for New Years to party with Tanner and Dave. What a night that was. We did a pregaming on the way up.
The last time Blatt was at Tanner’s house he left a box of fireworks so we decided to light them off.
After shooting with the Think Thank crew for a few more days after New Years I headed to Waterville, NH to shooting the first stop of the TransAM or TWSnow.
This was a nice sunrise the morning of the TransAM.
Kids were going crazy at the TransAM.
Waterville did an awesome job with the setup for the TransAM.
After the TransAM I met up with the Think Thank crew again and while I was gone for a few days they added these two guys (ted and Nial) along with Ross, Sean, and Zimmerman.
Ted also grew his hair out overnight.
The best shovels and I guess they come in a few colors.
Lucey has a nice light kit for filming those lines.
After a good trip with that crew, this was a nice sunset to end the trip.
Next stop for me was the second stop of the TransAM at Mountain Creek.
Kevin was all over the course at the Creek TransAM
After being on the road from Christmas until last weekend it was nice to go back to my home at Boulder. I also got to try out my new flash I picked up. Louie with a front blunt.
Trip whipped out his Super8 and got some film of the Bistro.
I can’t complaine on how my winter is going. It has been a lot of fun and still have a long way to go! Next stop for me is the TransAMs. I am shooting the next 3 which are Seven Springs, Minnesota, then Colorado. I will off to Springs tomorrow after noon. I will try to keep my blog updated of where I am at what post some photos.
